Life on base at U.S. military instillations around the world has gotten a lot more violent in recent years than many realize. Yesterday’s Camp Liberty shootings in Baghdad seem to fit into a pattern of troubling trends.
Since 2001, writer Mark Kukishas traveled widely throughout the Middle East and South Asia to report on the conflicts in Afghanistan, Pakistan, Kashmir and Iraq.
